Quick charger using AA for T3?

Hi,

I wanted to seek enlightenment within the matrix from the vast knowledge of palm users here.

Does anyone know of a quick charger using AA batteries (eg. NiMH) or something that will be able to recharge the T3?

I know there is one that uses a 9V battery for quick charge; however, the whole idea to this is convenience and readily available batteries. Not too many electronic devices use 9V rechargable batteries. So the only purpose you would carry 9V was for backup of your PDA. I guess the ulitimate solution of convenience is to make the battery in the T3 swapable; but that can't be done. I also know there is a back up battery pak; but that's not very convenient either (similar reasons as the 9V).

Sometimes when you travel or are out in the city, power outlets are not available (eg. you want to watch DVD on your PDA on a plane, in the car, or hanging out with friends.) At anyrate, I have and carry plenty of AA most of the time for the digital camera. So, anyone know if there is a quick charger using AA or a way to jerryrig something?

There must be something out there or someone must have tweaked something. Thanks in advance.

I am using one of the shirtpocket chargers with my T3 and I really like it. I use high-capacity NiMH AA cells and can get several hours of reading and/or calculating done without having to worry about battery loss.

My only "complaint" is that the cord is only around 9" long - I would prefer that it were longer so that I could leave the battery case in my pocket. However, the connector is much more firm in its attachment to my T3 than the other ones I have, so I do like it overall.

I bought it on line a few weeks ago from (scratches head and/or other parts of anatomy, gets look of extreme concentration on face...) OK, from somebody on the net (not near a computer with access to my records right now) - google for it and you should find it. $12.95 plush S+H if memory serves.

DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED
