Ok so I have a 1988 Alltrac with a bad engine (too many miles) and I like the car so I want to put a new engine in it. I have found an engine out of a ST205 ('93-'98) that comes with a tranny and wiring harness that should fit into my ST165 ('86-'89). My question is that I want to try and make it twin turbo by leaving the turbo on the new engine and installing the turbo from the old engine onto it. Would it work? How hard is it going to be? How much power benefit should I expect from that? Also when I view forums on that engine swap they say wiring modifications are necessary to put the newer engine into the older car but I cant find details. Any idea what those modifications are?
