I have a few questions about Supernatural seasons 4-5.
1) What is Castiel to Gabriel, Michael, and Lucifer?
2) Who are all the archangels and are they brothers?
3) Where did the horsemen come from and what is their purpose?
4) What is it that the angels ultimately want?
I mean, they say that they don't want Lucifer to win but they keep pushing for Sam and Dean to "play their roles" and let the apocalypse happen. Why would they want that rather then just kill the Devil and avoid all the unecessary bloodshed? It seems as if the angels are on the demons side because I can't understand their motives.
5) What is Lucifer's ulterior motive?
6) What was Azazel's "big plan" with the whole demon-blood-in-Sam thing?
