Questions about the Motorola Droid?

How much would it be for me to get one if I currently have a contract with Verizon, but it hasn't expired?
I currently have unlimited texting, would unlimited data be an additional $30 a month?
Is the touch screen as good as an Iphone's? (I have a LG Dare and the touch screen is terrible)
