I have a wonderful little fella I have had him for about a year now and he is amazing. He has forced me to learn so much about Betta's which I gladly did ALOT of research to try and give him the longest life span possible
TANK:
. I currently have him in a 10 gallon tank with 2 hide holes and some silk plants. I change 75% of his water weekly (Tuesdays usually) I usually boil all of his water for his tank but that turns into a full day event between Boiling it getting it back down to room Temperature so I have decided to try some water conditioner. I already boiled Half a tank worth of water but I am going to try half oiled and half tap with the water conditioner to see how it works. I bought Wardleys SAFE2O. What are your experiences with this do you prefer to boil it or condition it?
FEEDING:
I was feeding him flakes but it was beginning to pollute the tank too much so I switched to pellets however the past couple of days I have been reading about blood worms and was interested in giving them a chance. With blood worms how often should I feed them and do I feed them as a meal or as a treat?
LIFE EXPECTANCY:
I read that it was two years? True or False?
Any other advice you can give me is very much appreciated. Thanks!
