1. Plastic surgery is becoming a trend among Koreans, especially for high-school and college students. What are the dangers/benefits of this?
2. Do you think plastic surgery is relevant to Lookism?
3. What do you think about our Westernized view in defining "beauty"?
 
Plastic surgery is becoming more popular for ALL ethnic groups, especially high school and college aged kids because they lack the self esteem to be proud of their own individuality. Madison Avenue determines what is "beauty" and many young women are abusing drugs and their bodies in an attempt to become waif-like thin. Not all of us have the physical capacity to look that scrawny and I don't think it's even attractive.
