i have Lupus so i can't really handle high-impact exercise.
What i'm wondering is, can i still get really toned with low impact exercises? i know it would take harder work and more time than with high-impact training, but i mean in general .. let's say i set a goal to be really toned and have lost a certain amount of weight in about 1.5 years .. is that realistic with low-impact?
also .. what are some low-impact exercises? i know the basics like walking and swimming .. biking too. what else? is pilates low-impact?
