I'm going on a 3-week trip to Germany this summer. My boyfriend is having some hyper-anxiety over this, especially about us not being able to talk (as am I). So I've been trying to look into if I can text internationally but I'm totally confused by everything I'm coming up with from my google searches.
My cell phone carrier is verizon. My boyfriend's is not. Will I be able to text him from Germany somehow? If so how, and is there any way to get around the crazy high prices of it or is there some sort of prepaid plan I can get just for those three weeks? I'm on an unlimited text plan here in the US but obviously internationally will not apply.
