Hi i have been doing some research and plan on getting a Dwarf Gourami and noticed that most places recommend the water temperature to be anywhere from 72 degrees to 84 degrees. The temperature of the room where I am keeping it will probably fluctuate between 66 and 76 degrees. Is this ok if I keep one without a heater? I was also wondering if anyone had one of these types of fish and what they think about it. Do they seem active? I only have a small 2.5 gallon tank for it because I plan on keeping it in my dorm room with me and was planning on getting a few plants for the corners and was wondering how much it was going to hide in them and how much it will swim in the open area. I would also like to get a small shrimp to swim on the bottom of the tank since the Dwarf Gourami's stay to the middle and top. Would this be ok? Thanks for the comments, Brad
