I just got a 2000 mercury cougar, and one of the lights came on, towards the bottom left corner. It's a trash can looking symbol with a fan in it. I have no idea what it means! It kind of makes me laugh aside from the fact that it means something is up with my car. It usually comes on my first time starting the car after it'd been sitting overnight or for a few hours. But then once I restart it after havign drove for 20 minutes or so, it's fine. - also it seems my radio likes to shut off and on occasionally in the same time frame as all that is happening.
Anything you know about what this could be, send me an answer
OH! and we checked all the fluids, everything is fine in that category.
I do not have an owners manual. we bought the car used and yeah they must've kept it lol
