So, I have some novels that i would like to send in to publishers and I want to have them copyrighted before I send them just in case and i was wondering how much that would cost? I live in California. Also, if i have it copyrighted am I allowed to make changes and copyright it again, or is the infringing my own copyright since some of it will be the same as the first? Basically any advice along the lines of my questions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, sorry that this is probably a dumb question.
