Most of the schools I want to go to recommend a minimum of three years of a foreign language. I forgot about languages, so I'm taking my first foreign language next year, french. So I'll only have two years by the time I graduate and I'm really worried about how it'll affect me getting into certain schools... Syracuse is my top choice, but half the schools on my list say I should have 3 years of a foreign language.
So does that third year really matter?
If it does then what can I do to make up for it?
And another question I had real quick was what is the difference between social studies and history? High school classes.
Thanks in advance
College Board seems to have social studies and history under two different categories when they talk about college admissions requirements.
