I broke my arm, just below my wrist, in one place, and I have a cast on my arm. It is plastic based, and the nurse had to wrap it around my arm, it goes all the way up my arm, past my elbow, and is about an inch away from my shoulder. Why is it so long?
Tomorrow, I have an appointment, 2 weeks have passed, and the doctor will do an x-ray on my arm, will he have to take the cast off, so he can see anything? It is made of some plastic. If/when he does take it off, when a new one will be put on, will it still go past my elbow?
