I want to get into BMX and stuff, I love to do tricks and just ride my bike. Right now i have a crappy mongoose that was like 40 bucks. I was wondering if there was a way to make the handle bar brakes stronger. They don't brake that fast. Also i wanted to know if there was anyway to make it lighter, because it is pretty heavy. It is hard to do tricks and what not. I wanted to know how to make the bike go backwards when you pedal backwards too.
I also might just buy a new bike that is actually BMX. So can you recommend a good brand for BMX bikes? My Price range is roughly $300 and under.
