How long does it take to become a pharmacist? For an example, USP in Philadelphia, PA has a 6 year program for a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D). However, is a undergraduate degree required to enter a program like this, or is this program started right out of high school?
Also, do the people working in the grocery store/walmart/CVS pharmacies have these type of degrees? If this program is started right out of high school, isn't it realistic that pharmacist can start working after 6 years of HS, at around age 24?
