so i'm 14 and going into 9th grade. i havent done that good in school the past 2 years ive gotten mostly B's. i'm gonna try VERY hard next year to get straight A's. anyways im trying to decide what i wanna be and i was thinking maybe a lawyer.

1. about how much do lawyers make a year?
2. how many years do you have to go to college?
3. is it a hard job with a lot of work?

thank youuuu:)

Depends on what kind of lawyer. A District Attorney makes much less than a corporate attorney in a large firm. A Public defender makes even less. So what kind of law would you want to do?

You need 4 years of college, then 3 years of lawschool and then you need to pass the bar examination.

Yes, it is a hard job with a lot of work. Most professional jobs are hard, with a lot of work. If you don't enjoy the practice of law, you will find it hard going indeed.

You should use next year, not only to improve your study techniques and grades, but also to really consider different types of careers. It is so much easier to deal with the day to day drudgery if you enjoy your work.
