I'm a 17 year old male.
I'm not really sure what to think. I'm confused right now. Am I bi-curious?Bisexual? Gay? Straight? In-denial?
I don't really mind what my sexuality is, I really am a confident person so I don't care about what others think, and open to what it might be, but I just don't know what I am? Now I know if I don't know, then how could you right? Well I know you wouldn't know either, I'm just looking for your suggestions and what you think it is. Well here goes my situation:
I like girls to start off. I have a crush on a girl. The weird thing is, I don't get turned on by girls. Is that normal? I asked advice from my friends and some adults, even a counselor. My friends, of course told me point blank I was gay, or i was either straight. That didn't help me out. The adults said I'll figure it out in time. But I also got advice to experiment. So I watched dirty videos of gay porn, straight, and girl on girl. The gay one did turn me on, it was kind of weird, but ok. The straight one also turned me on. And the last one, not so much. I asked advice on what this meant and I was told , "You're sexual orientation can't be determined by porn" so that didn't help.
Further more, what lead to my questioning of myself is that I catch myself checking guys out. It's not a sexual thing, it's just that if a guy is good looking, you can't really help but to look. I have also been turned on by a picture of a penis, but I was just told that it is because I associate pleasure with that, so I thought nothing of it till now.
Am I just over thinking this? What's your input?
