I've gotta 1993 ford probe, sweet looking, nothing wrong cosmetically. I enjoy driving the car..
I just bought it for $900.
Its having problems with overheating, im really not exactly sure what it is, but me and my dad replaced a radiator hose, which it clearly needed, but this however did not fix the overheating.
Also the e-brake is incredibly weak and most of the time cannot hold the car if it is in neutral. I had a guy tell me he could adjust it for 20 bucks, but if that doesn't work, it could get costly.
I'm foreseeing another problem. It's making a squealing noise when i start it up, but this goes away after a while, (my old car did this, and didnt stop until i had the timing belt replaced which was about 400 bucks.)
Its got a nice feeling clutch.. and a rebuilt engine. 186k on it.
Should i say screw it and cut my losses before i throw all my money into this? Or is it really worth it just to have it for maybe about 2 years ( i'm going to baby it, no racing)
