what are all these Depot things that i see around this website and others? i know that it is software for phones, but what does it do? i tried looking it up in search and all i came across was people trying to sell it. can any one take the time to explain to me what all of this Depot and Super Depot stuff is?

rss (radio subscriber software) is a program that motorola releases to select people to program iden phones. It varies in features by version. General to the public was companion pro. It let you basicly do all features that are in the phone that you can access throught the menu. You are saying well that is dumb. But it is not you can cut and paste phone numbers or if you are a company and you have to program the phones a certain way you can do it fast by computer. then there is agent, carrier, depot, and i think lab was the highest level.. each one give you more features. . Reset lock codes, unlock the phone so you can use it on Nextel or Boost. Change the timing on the cellular.. change custom palettes.. change band/freq.
