You know when you dl something from the market, and it will give you the download warnings... one that always comes up is , phone calls, may call long distant numbers... somethng along those lines... and another is personal information.... I am really wondering what these all mean? are they just warnings that mean not much, or is there some that I really have to watch out for?? does anyone know what I mean?

The permissions on the app? You should pay attention to those, and look for unnecessary ones... I.e. an app for wallpapers that needs contact data is odd... somewhere on the developer site is a breakdown of what each means.

here's an explanation of app permissions:
http://techpp.com/2010/07/30/android-apps-permissions-secure-private-data/

there's also an app called "aspotcat" in the market that'll tell you what permissions your installed apps have.

On that page:

That was me!!! http://rabroad.com/forums/f3/locale-sending-reports-to-flurry-com-18551/

Given that the page isn't a thread, I wonder what the source of this page actually is. It looks to me like it's been copy and pasted from somewhere else (i.e. a thread somewhere).
