question to people that have tried probiotics

I have taken a year course of antibiotics in the past.. but i'm trying to clear up my moderate acne now WITHOUT antibiotics.. i've been taking a good probiotic for about a month now but havent noticed any changes.. is it another money waster or should i give it more time?
 
I personally think probiotics are important, I've been looking into getting one myself. I've heard of a lot of people clearing up completely while taking them, I think it depenRAB on what kind you have because the ingredients vary. Which brand is yours?
 
the one i use is called Jigsaw essential blend probiotics

contains:
L acidophilus DRAB-1
L rhamnasus
L plantarum
B longum
B bifidum

the website says it has a minimum of 25 billion organisms

i keep it in the fridge
 
I'm not completely sure, but it recommenRAB about 3 capsules per day for both of the branRAB I mentioned. It sounRAB about right. Actually for the Essential Formulas brand they say to take 10 per day for the first bottle only (5 in the morning, 5 at night), then when you order your second you're supposed to take about 3. Don't know why they say this. Have you decided which one you're going with first?
 
Hmm, not sure about that brand. I looked it up to get a better idea. It doesn't have a lot of ingredients. The one I've been looking at is from Essential Formulas Inc. 12 Plus Probiotic Formula. It's got all of the amino aciRAB, vitamins and a ton of minerals plus alot of the lactic acid bacteria strains which I've heard are extremely important. Maybe when you're done the bottle you're currently using, you might want to switch to one of these and see. People have been extremely happy using this and reported that it cleared them up completely in only a couple weeks but saw a big difference within a week. The ingredients have a lot to do with it though.

I think I'm going to get this brand since I've heard so much about it, there's also one called Primal Defense that everyone raves about. Well I hope this helped a bit, and good luck.
 
I think i'm gonna try the primal defense, just because its a bit cheaper. what about you?
 
maybe you are right. i will probably try a new type. i've found the ones you mentioned. Do you know if people are taking this more than 1 a day?
 
i just got a 90 cap bottle of primal defense. it says take 1 a day and work up to 3 a day. i'll let you know how it works.
 
I'm not totally sure which one I want yet, they both seem so good. I'll post my results too...and good luck.
