I'll explain a few things first...
Me and my boyfriend have recently been noticing things around our house. Just about an hour ago, I was listening to my music and playing on the PS3, and I noticed my dog look upstairs for about 30 seconds...following that, I barely heard a very low thud. I paused my music, and looked out the windows upstairs...saw no signs of anybody outside. I go out on the porch, and hear nothing...it's deathly quiet.
Now, the other day, my boyfriend told me that while I was sleeping...he watched the dog look up the stairs for bout 10 seconds...get a scared look on her face, and then it looked as if she was following something...or someone down the stairs...across the room, and over to the bathroom. Boyfriend then said that outta the corner of his eye, he saw a shadow near the bathroom.
(I was texting him telling him what I heard earlier and said that he's been seeing shadows near the bathroom more frequently as well.)
He has said that he has had multiple dreams about this little girl. She just kinda messes with him in his dreams (tickles his feet, pins him down, pushes him around) He says that they're so real, he doesn't realize he's sleeping till he sits up and sees nothing's there. When he wakes up, he sees I'm out cold, and whatever he was doing in the bed, didn't even bother me. I haven't had any dreams of this girl...so we're thinking that if there IS something in the house...it likes him more than me.
I've seen shadows at the top of the landing late at nite, but when I look up, nothing's there. I heard some mumbling when I was home alone a few nites ago. I went upstairs to make sure my radio was off, which it was...I looked out all the windows and saw nobody. I even walked around the house (outside) to see if anybody was messing with me...and nothing. Dead quiet.
I'm convinced that there's something here. My boyfriend kinda just thinks I'm crazy for 'hearing' stuff...but I don't know. I do believe in ghosts and all that, and I wouldn't mind if there WAS actually something here...but...it's just a tad creepy right now. The house isn't that old, and we've lived here for about 3 1/2 years...and it's JUST NOW starting to act up...which is the odd part. We rent the house, and have done no remodeling since we've been here.
Anyways...do you think that there's something here? It doesn't seem like it's trying to hurt us, just...messing with us, I guess. Would getting a voice recorder of some sort to try and talk to it, help me figure out more? Where would I go to find out history on the house to see if anything happened?
