i need help on how to improve my grammar what needs to be fixed or added. (constructive criticisms always welcomed i always add the input) Help me:
Katrina ran her fingers along the door knob that’s when it started to glow, and then something clicked. The door flew open and inside was pitch black Katrina snapped her finger, and an illuminating light went ablaze in her fingers. Katrina grinned she was sparkling with joy she couldn’t wait to show her nieces what she had been holding on to for years. But also she was fretful of what was about to rise and maybe just maybe end the world. The only hope for the world were here young witch nieces, yet Katrina hated to do this to them if she had to choose she would go herself. Katrina bent down and gripped a chest holding it with all her strength she quickly sat it down on a sturdy wooden table. The chest was engraved with gold and a dark maroon color.
“what is that?” Chasity said with aw she looked at the precious box her mind was running with creative and wild things that could have been in the chest.
“It’s a chest my darling it has something I been wanting to show you for years!” Katrina answered while she grabbed a key from her long gown pocket, and she rapidly unlocked the chest making sure the lid did not hit the wooden table to hard.
“Is it magical?” Faith asked taking a step forward and putting her hands on the cluttered table.
“Yes it is magical it has been passed down to witch to witch in our family generation and now it is you’re turn to have what’s inside!” Katrina said grabbing a bunch of papers out of the chest. The three sisters watched Katrina as she clutched more papers finally Katrina gently pulled out a gleaming chain it’s charm was of a large dark cobalt ovule with a silver outline.
“This is for you my sweet Karma it will be very helpful on you’re quest!” Katrina said handing the cobalt necklace to Karma.
“What’s this for?” Karma asked gripping the necklace lightly.
“It’s to help you with you’re power” Katrina said while clutching Karma’s hand.
“My power what does that mean?”
“See karma you have the power of the present you see options! decisions some people see two doors you see five!”
“I already know this remember you told me and the rest of us this story when we were about ten!” Karma said releasing herself from Katrina’s grip.
“Yes I remember, but I think it’s time to tell you a little bit more about you’re powers. See you each have the power to see either the past, present, or future. Wonderful gifts if I do say so myself that has been pasted down generation to generation in our witch line some of you’re powers have grown like your’s Chasity!”
“Do you mean how I stop time?” Chasity asked while gathering some of the papers on Katrina’s disordered table. She flipped through the pages it was just notes and a couple of spells nothing to fancy Chasity thought but quickly lifted her head up when Katrina started to speak.
“Yes I do. Anyway karma wear this necklace and it shall help you channel the right decision.”
“Um ok I will!” Karma said in a doubtful voice, but Karma thought she had no reason to distrust her warmhearted not to mention genuine aunt. She just nodded her head and causally unlatched the chain and placed it around her neck. The lengthy chain plopped on her chest it was alluring on her. It’s dark cobalt color shined in the dim candle lit room. She treasured the necklace a lot it was
charming, but she really didn’t understand the “magical” part at least. She started to tamper with it. Its dark cobalt color started to flutter around like a flurry of butterflies.
