I had a 'virus' my doctor said, for about 4 months now since mid-January, on and of.....

Symptoms have included

- Temperature anywhere between 36.4 C - 37.8 degrees C
- Constant dizziness
- Stuffy and congested feeling in nose and head
- For the first 3 months, had thick green mucus, its easing off now
- Post-nasal drip on and off
- Mild fatigue
- Generally feeling unwell
- Occassional loss of appetite
- Mild 'sinus' type headaches and pains, which were more severe in the first 3 months.

In January this year, was eventually diagnosed with a sinus infection (first one i've ever had!) Had 2 courses of antibiotics, eventually cleared up....... 2 weeks later it all came back again, pretty much the same symptoms.

Now, 4 months later, I have a constant low grade fever, dizziness, stuffy feeling and feeling generally unwell. The green mucus has decreased a bit, but still have a little pos-nasal drip. My doctor is doing a blood test tommorrow for me. Can anyone tell me what they might be testing?

I am a 20 year old female, from the UK

Thanks! xxxx

I imagine that they will just be running a standard blood test to see that all of your organs are working the way they should be, they will be looking to see if you're anaemic, checking your white blood cell count, seeing how much oxygen is being transported in your blood stream.

It sounds like you might have something like Sinusitis, which would explain pretty much all of your symptoms. It also might explain why it came back again. Whatever it is, I hope they clear it up for you soon.
