Didn't follow instructions prior to taking Birth Control Pill?
Thank you in advance for taking a time out to read this.
I've been on the depo shot from Feb2011 till May2011. It is now, August2011 and I'm still having constant and very heavy period. My doctor suggested that I take the Birth control pill. It stated there that i have to take it the Sunday after my period starts. But since I have a very abnormal period, I don't know when my actual period stops.
Here's the problem. Even though it's not Sunday (Tuesday today) I took the Sunday (very first) pill and within a minute of taking the pill I had an intercourse with my husband and released on me. I still have a period at that time.
(I bled the whole time I was on depo until now)
Question: Is it ok that i have taken the pill even if it's not Sunday and have an intercourse right after taking my very first pill?
Answers are very much appreciated. Thanks!
