I'm doing a practice assignment and the question is:

If an observer is at a latitude of 30 S, what is the meridional altitude of a star with a declination -20°?

I got an answer of 100 degrees, but the answer says it is 80 degrees. I'm sure I'm right. Can someone explain if I am or if I'm not, how?
