My dad received Airport Express from a friend without the software disk. He talked to the people who fix our computers and they suggested he purchase an Encore wireless USB adapter. He did, and now I'm trying to figure out how to make the two work together. I tried installing the adapter but it couldn't find a network. I have Quest internet service and my dad thought we could use our ethernet cable. So I unplugged the ethernet cable from my PC and plugged it into the Airport Express, so it is connected to our Quest modem. But the installer still can't find a network. I got a laptop for Christmas and it's my first one and I can't wait to have internet! I'd appreciate any information any of you lovely Answerers may have. Thank you!
