Ok so I know some restraunts pay their workers way below min wage because they know they will be geting tips..am i the only one who thinks thats utter BS?
( i dont even work in a restraunt anymore ) a waiter should get paid a fair amount of money per hour and the buisness shouldnt have any right to pay a worker less money per hour just because a customer has the OPTION to tip.
why should the worker get punished, a tip should be a private exchange of money between a customer and worker as a gift/thanks!
Also, some restraunts take all the tips at the end of the night and put them together and spread them out between all the workers, now i understand it's a way non waiters can cash in on it too but what if another worker wasnt pulling his/her slack? why should the good worker be punished like that, i dont like that liberal way of buisness
