I'm close to finishing my first year at university and didn't do so well. I'm looking to switch things up and go to a community college for possibly a year, or I may even continue on in one of their programs.
Do I absolutely have to transfer my grades over? I'm honestly not interested in doing so if I can help it. Though if I go to apply for financial aid at this school, I'm assuming they'll see my past financial aid information at the prior school? And/or my grades to go with that?
Is this a potential problem applying as a new student and not mentioning my past year of college?
