I recently lost a family member to a gunshot wound to the head.. The forensic pathology takes up to 16 weeks.. When nothing makes sense, and thoughts run wild, i try to put pieces of the puzzle together myself.. There was only one witness in the house who is also considered a suspect at this time because he gave 4 different stories since the scene.. I thought after the autopsy we would get some feedback but all we got was "inconclusive" and still investigating.. what does that mean? we know for a fact it was a 40 or 45 caliber handgun (dont know too much about guns) which belonged to my family member.. who enjoyed collecting guns...and knew them inside out... they claim it might be an accident where he put the gun to his head and accidentally went off.. but im not buying it.. the gun the police said was pressed against the head... would that make the entrance wound smaller or bigger than the exit wound? because if the bullet mushrooms out, the right side there was a hole as big as a grapefruit above the temple and left side was small.. also there was a bruise on the right side of his eye.. i know for sure he was right handed and never picked his gun up with his left hand.. the bullet exited at a 45 degree angle and went through the wall.. its questionable if he did this to himself accidentally or someone else put a gun to his head and shot him... can someone help me?
