I will try to explain this as best as possible. I currently have a smartphone that requires the extra 30$ a month service and i hold it with my stepdad. I am 1 year away from a contract renewal but i want to get a different smart phone. My REAL dad holds 2 phone line in his name, one for work, one for personal use. His work phone is currently due for a new contract renewal and i wanted to know if i could use this to my advantage by getting my smartphone from him for the 2 year contract price. Afterwards, he could just put his old regular phone back into service and i take the new smartphone to my STEPDADS contract and switch it out with my old phone. I dont want my REAL dad ending up having to pay for the 30$ service any longer than 1 month if this is possible. Does anyone know if this works or not? any info will help, Thankyou in advance
