Hi im getting a bmx bike soon( its going to be my first) and i have my choice down to either one of the new 2010 norcos probably the volt or the nail.
But I also have the option at the local bike shop to get a 2009 dk clevland. Now the volt weighs 26.5lb and i asked the guy what the dk cleveland weighs and he said 30lbs ( with chain guard, reflectors, and 2 pegs on one side).the norco doesnt have any pegs or chain guard or anything so can someone verify for me that the cleveland and the norco would actually be about the same weight? I have also been reading that dk bikes are way too heavy so im not even sure if the guy was right about it being 30 it might be 35 or something so if someone could find that out for me.
Also, if i did choose to get the cleveland, would it be a decent bike and not break? because i know norcos i have owned are all great bikes. Last question, would 30lbs be too heavy to learn and do tricks like 180's? or will it be fairly difficult because of the weight
