Came across this FreewarePalm app and the homepage for "CodeThought:"
Freeware Palm/Dave's Currency Calc (can't get the URL to list here properly)
http://www.codethought.net/
First of all the Currency calc looks EXACTLY like Peter Easton's "Currency," which is to say the least weird. Furthermore they have a DES encryption app and a hexadecimal converter, both of which require a runtime library.
My question is, when I switch things in the PC registry to "take longer to enact," such as the security logging, I have needed to change the hexadecimal to another number. Default was 14 hours - I set it for one week, which comes out something like "2396." Is there a desktop calc for "conversions like this," and would any of you recommend tying up 330k for a runtime library and another 100-200k for a converter calc for something so "simple?"
Can running too many libraries on the T3 (this and that runtime, AES, DES, etc) cause conflicts? I know the Java Runtime caused some people on here a lot of grief with resets. Anyone knowing a simple calc for converting Windows registry numbers to whatever they need to be please advise, whether it's PC based or Palm.
Thanks in advance all!!
