question mainly for dodge ram truck owners..please help?

Hello, i like the new large 2009 dodge ram tailgait emblems that you see on the back of the trucks and was wondering if you thought it would look bad to put this on a dodge ram 1500 truck model that came out right before the newer ones?

The only problem is i don't know how i'd take off the smaller dodge ram emblem on my truck? Anyhow, do you all think it would look ok or not good, truthfully????
 
well if it isnt screwed in take a razor blade and wedge it between the tailgate and emblum and if it is screwed on open the tailgate unscrew the top piece and unscrew the emblum
 
The emblem is glued on. Heat it with a hair dryer and work a putty knife behind it and lift it off. Clean the old glue off with bug and tar remover install your nerw emblem and wax it and around it. Its your truck if you like it go for it.
