I am attempting to find the measure of an Arc/Angle in relation to the measure of other Arcs/Angles. This may sound complicated, but bear with me as I took the liberty of diagramming the circles in MS Paint. They may not look perfect, but you can grasp the concept...
The first problem involves finding the measure of an Arc when you are given the measure of another Arc and the measure of an inscribed angle. Picture: http://oi54.tinypic.com/29qjv40.jpg
The second problem involves finding the measure of an Angle when you are given the measures of two arcs. Somewhat more complicated than the first. Picture: http://oi53.tinypic.com/332xkc5.jpg
If anyone could explain a process for each individual problem, it would be greatly appreciated. I would rather not receive a simple answer, but an explanation instead.
Thank you. Goodnight.
On the second circle, I believe Chord HN is a diameter. It is not given directly, but the problem states that Point O is the midpoint of the circle. The chord should be a diameter, as it passes through the midpoint directly.
