I recently purchased a Blackberry 8530 off ebay. I was able to port my ph# but not complete activation with Page Plus. When I contacted customer service they said they had stopped activating Blackberries on Page Plus and they were surprised I was able even to port my number. They completed my activation anyways but warned me that Verizon might deactivate my data because Blackberries give out a constant signal that has to do with BIS/BES if I remember correctly. Apparently they caught up with me because my data was completely deactivated. Is there any thing I can do to at least be able to utilize the 50 mb included on my Page Plus plan and keep the BIS/BES deactvated so it doesn't create trouble for me? Would unlocking the phone help?
