Right now I am studying Christianity, not for reasons of faith but rather because I am interested in world religions and figured I'd start off with the big one. Anyways, I wanted to buy a bible so that I could reference to it and read through it. However, I really want to get a bible that is as close to a direct translation as possible to the original. I was wondering if anyone knew of a specifically good one.
