...best answer? Please check my homework before I turn it in.
1.Choose the point-slope form of the equation below that represents the line that passes through the point (-1, 6) and has a slope of -3.
A.y - 6 = -3x - 3
B.y - 6 = -3(x + 1)
C.y = -3x + 3 My guess only because I think the other 3 are same.
D.3x + y = 3
2.Choose the point-slope form of the equation below that represents the line that passes through the points (-3, 2) and (2, 1).
A.y + 3 = -5(x - 2)
B.y - 2 = -5(x + 3)
C.y + 3 = -1/5(x - 2)
D.y - 2 = -1/5(x + 3) I think it is this and I don't know why
3.Given the equation y - 3 = 1/5(x + 6) in point-slope form, identify the equation of the same line in slope-intercept form.
A.x - 2y = -12 My guess
B.y = (1/5)x
C.y = (1/5)x + 6
D.y = (1/5)x + 9
4.Given the equation y - 3 = 1/5(x + 6) in point-slope form, identify the equation of the same line in standard form.
A.x - 2y = -12
B.y = (1/5)x
C.y = (1/5)x + 6 My guess
D.y = (1/5)x + 9
I asked this question before I had 2 responses I told that it was B C C A and told to get a tutor but the next answer I got was all my answers are correct my 2nd attempt I got one response she said BD and 3and 4 had no answer cause she thought I had a typo I dont I triple checked.IM LOST.
I dont need a tutor for one lesson. I have straight A's and this is my best subject only I am not so good with these darn slopes and crap my worst unit in Algebra why tutor for one unit. If I fail this unit I might get a mid to high b no biggy
