question about yoga,ballet and dance...?

do you think that yoga could help on my dancing? if it could help with my dancin what kind of yoga should i take? please help me guys..
 
Yoga will definitely help you with your dancing. The moves are very similar, they both stress strength and flexibility and control.
It really doesn't matter which kind of yoga you take as the various techniques work toward the same end.
 
i breakdance, which involved a lot of stress on you muscles, sometimes all your weight suddenly transferred into one muscle, and sometimes a slow pain while repeating a move. i took and am taking yoga, and it helps.
when it comes to types of yoga, there are eight branches. most will be great for you, but the one i wouldnt recommend is pranayama, which is breathing exercise, and normally involve meditating, which wont help your dance.
