I got my new iphone last night, and when I got it the lady did not ask me if I wanted text messaging, I just assumed (stupidly) that the plan from my old phone would be used for this one (since she moved the call plan and data plan I assumed she'd also move the text plan to the new phone). HOWEVER that appears not to be the case. I sent over 500 texts today, and when I went onto verizon today, I saw that I went over my allotted allowance. So, I went and purchased the plan the 500 text plan with unlimited vz user to vz user texts.
My question is... will the plan cover the texts I put on it last night and today (retroactive to the 6th), or does it start from that moment forward, and do I have a leg to stand on to argue that I didn't know the CSR didn't add the texting to my phone, since she added everything else to it. She didn't even ask me if I wanted a text plan...
