I just have a question for everyone and maybe some people here know more about this than I do so maybe you can help me. About three weeks ago, well actualy on Nov. 1 (I remeraber because it was the night after halloween) I had to fly somewhere for work and I have always hated flying, it causes me great anxiety since I have become sober, it didnt seem to be much of a problem when I was using OCs becasue I would use a lot of the drug before the flight and become nearly comatose throughout flying. Anyways on that day I was ultra nervous about flying for some reason so I took 2 5mg valium. They didnt really do much for me and it felt no different than as if I took 2 Tic Tacs. Today I had my monthly dr. appt. with my addiction dr. and at every appt. I take a urine test, todays test she said that I tested positive for BENZos. It came as a suprise to me becasue that was 20 days ago and I did not think that they stay in your urine for that long. Does anyone know how long valium last for and if it is even posible for them to show up in a urine test 20 days after using them. I find it unlikely that they would last that long and I am convinced it was either an error on the test or something that I ingested showed up as a benzo, I mentioned to her that last night I took tylenol simply sleep tablets before bed and maybe that could be it but she said it could not be. so if anyone has any info that would be helpful it would be greatly appreciated.
