I am probably one of many who are outraged with cell phone carriers who force you to pay 20+ dollars a month for a useless data pack on all phones except basic flip phones. However, i was wondering if it were possible for me to buy an unlocked phone (lg ally for example) on ebay or amazon, and walk into verizion and ask them to put it onto my contract without being forced to use a data pack.
If this insn't an option is there any way of avoiding data packs?
