My university gives me about $9,000 in financial aid. I live off-campus. I believe that all I am paying for is tuition and fees. At my uni it costs about $90 per credit hour for tuition. This semester I had estimated about $4,400 left and I am enrolled for 14 credits. I figured my tuition was about $1200 this semester. Did my university charge me around $3,400 in fees? I looked at the list of fees on the school website and I've concluded that there is a list of hidden fees because it doesn't add up. Next semester I would like to take 19 credit hours but I am not sure how this will affect the cost outside of tuition. I need at the very least $4,000 per semester to live a frugal life (cover rent, utility, food) and for books.
