Question about the Royal Marines boot camp?

Does anybody here know anything about the UK Marines 'Tarzan Assault Course'?
I really want to join the Marines and this is the only thing that's putting me off. Is it dangerous? Could you die from making the smallest of mistakes?
I know it's about 40ft off the ground and there is no safety netting to catch you if you fall.
 
The Tarzan assault course is something the Royal Marines are very kean on seeing you suceed at. Yes it is high, but if you could die, many men would of by now. If you fall its either landing on soft sand or smooth water.

If you go to www.youtube.com and type in Tarzan Assault course you can see some of the lads doing it. But the Royal Marines Officers and Commandoes would train you up to it, you dont just jump into it.
Good luck and just know that Royal Marines have a good salary compared to some other branches, i'd recomend it.

im joining the american marines but i do know some thing about the royal marines first off they have the longest training of any combat unit in the world. Chances of making it are 1 in 5. they have a sense of humor (not important but good to know).they are Known for accuracy. there is a test where you have to survive off the land with nothing but your clothes for i dont know how long
