What is this???

It's on the bottom of the Pre and I tried to push it in thinking it may be a button but then that didn't do anything so I gave an (admittedly half hearted) effort to pry it open thinking it may be a port to connect it to my laptop but I couldn't get it open... Anyone know what this is???
