Question about the military?

I'm going into the marines and I'm 5'2 petite and not high maintenance in the least but like to look very feminine, I'm also very shy and very polite. I've been told by several women in the military that girls like this, esp. the really shy ones, get harassed a lot more by the guys, also because i haven't had a lot of experience with guys or partying or anything they say that makes me one of the 'nice girls'. They also told me the 'sweet girls' never get left alone. I'm not worried or anything, just curious if anyone has experienced this.
 
Congratulations on joining the Marines OORAHHH!!!! Yes you will get lets say picked on might want to start working on being more assertive my budys say they seen it sometimes i havnt yet. You sound Like my friend she looks beautiful and sounds alot like you and if you say something even slightly wrong you'll regret it. She has that natural way of saying dont F*** with me right now. Work on that attitude and you wont be messed with
