Ok so I started taking Medroxyprogesterone which is a substitute for provera. I was supposed to take it for ten days but I had taken it for 5-6 days and this morning I spotted a light pink color. Didnt spot anything else but throughout the day was still having light cramps. Then tonight I had something that almost felt like a contraction in my lower abdomen. It felt like my lower abdomen was tightening in knots and then the pain spreaded to my lower back/hip area. I went to the emergency room cause I never felt anything like that before other then labor. I started bleeding heavier while I was there. They did a urine test, blood test and a pelvic exam. Everything came back normal. He said he was pretty sure I just started my period. I am very happy everything came back good but I dont understand why that was happening to me earlier. Has anyone ever experienced this after taking provera or Medroxyprogesterone?
