For my history class we were given the following assignment:

Write an essay on this prompt:
"Germany is not looking to Prussia's liberalism but to her power . . . The great questions of the day will not be decided by speeches and majority decisions—that was the mistake of 1848–1849—but by iron and blood." To what extent did Bismarck's policies, embodied by this statement, lead to World War I?
Your essay should not only address the Danish War, the Austro-Prussian War, and the Franco-Prussian War, but it should also deal with Bismarck's creation of the North German Confederation and the numerous alliances he made in the last years before his dismissal. Essays should also look at whether the main causes of World War I—alliances, nationalism, militarism, industrialization, and imperialism—were created by and/or aggravated by Bismarck's actions.

However, instead of doing an essay, each person is given one topic to do a mini presentation on. In my case, I got the Austro-Prussian war. What points should I focus on to answer the question? The fact that the Prussians established itself as the only major power among the German states or?
