in June my services got cut off due to an outstanding bill (about 700), which is very reasonable. I was making almost weekly payments to get caught up at the time. I had called them to set up a payment arrangement and the rep had asked me if was planning on reconnecting my services when I paid off my bill . I said yes, and she informed me that my bill in July would be lower because I didn't have my service for the month of june.
well I got my July bill I was expecting it to be around 250, I was almost done!...but it was almost 1600! it had gone up! Telus had canceled my contract. they charged me 200 for ending my contract early....but I didn't ask them to cancel the contract, I wasnt informed that this was going to happen, was making payments and was going to reconnect my services. the other 1000 came from the two pvr boxes I had, which I have since returned.
I've been preoccupied with a newborn....should I call Telus on this? they gave me less then a month to let off a 700 bill (which I was making payments on and was almost done)...and then cut off my contract without notice?
