Question about T-Mobile blackberry service?

all you need to do is switch the sim card and call T-mobile and tell them you just want to use a blackberry and want to switch out the sidekick, you friend can do the same vice versa, its a lie to pay for a sidekick data plan and a blackberry. you can only have one data plan at a time all you need to do is provide the the IMEI number located in the back of your phone where the battery is, the rep from T-Mobile told you that so he can keep his commission and for him not to get a charge back from the sale. btw you can switch in and out of any features in your acct even if your in a contract, the contracts only broken if you decide to cancel service.

My friend and I are swapping our phone's since we both like eachother's phone's better. She has the new Blackberry and I have the new Sidekick. Since T-Mobile has sim cards switching shouldn't be a problem, however she said that she has heard that she can't cancel her blackberry service and switch it to a sidekick one, and same for me. Therefore, she'd have to pay for the blackberry service as well as the sidekick which doesn't make sense to me, but she claimed to have heard it from an associate who works at the store. Before I go through the pain of calling T-Mobile does anybody on here work for T-Mobile and know the answer, or have dealt with this previously? Thank you!
